Engineer Styles

This section details how to clear the default engineer styles on the structural elements that make up your block.

Overview

Some of the engineer styles are important to keep but the rest might impact the overall design of your block. We recommend that you clear out these styles before moving forward. This section details each element in the Empty Block, their default styles, and how to clear them out. 

Element Name, default style property, and Description

Block

Padding 

Default style of 1em. Should be set to 0. 

Block Content

Min-Height


Default style of 100px min-height. Should be cleared out all together.

Step 1

Clearing block styles

In the Layout Pane, click Block

Click the Block element

Click into Margin, Padding

In the middle of the Padding Input Fields, click the [-] button to set all values to 0

Click Save

Step 2

Clearing block content styles

At the top of the Styles Pane, click the Back Arrow

Click Block Content

Click Width, Height

In the Min-Height field, highlight the default style and press delete to clear it

Click Save
